Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

Cats, Migration

Northern Serengeti, Tanzania is truly a magical place. The density of wildlife in this remote sector of the park is second to none.  The area is just as scenic as its wildlife with large outcroppings of kopjes, rolling hills and of course the famous Mara River. Here you will see lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, hippo, buffalo and all the usual suspects.

He eventually got the zebra away from the rest of the pride and carried it to a nearby tree but not before a struggle with a few females and older cubs and having it later taken back by the cubs.
